TUTU DEADLY

"…Tutu Deadly is a book I can recommend -- stage mothers might even enjoy being skewered a bit. Jenny is a great cozy heroine - with a self-deprecating sense of humor and a big heart."--Cozy Library

"Grit and humor propel Jenny ahead. Roberts handles a variety of unrelated threads to create a fun read."--Gumshoe Review

"Tutu Deadly is overall a fun mystery and fans of quick mysteries with a little bit of romance should enjoy this one."--Myshelf.com

"This is one of the more amusing cases this reviewer has read due to the kvetching of the heroine as she deals with one crisis after another because she has the experience of dealing with things worse than bombs: psycho moms. The characters especially the leads are refreshing and unique as Tate is not sure whether to handcuff Jenny and arrest her or handcuff Jenny because the heat is on. Albeit a police procedural, amateur sleuth fans will want to kick off their heels and dance with TUTU DEADLY."--Harriett Klausner

"The heroine is fresh and a bit uncontrollable, the hero is a winner, and the growing relationship between them is fired by the conflict between what we should do and what we want to do that is present in all of us. Roberts leaves you with that one thing every good author should generate -- a desire for more."--Fresh Fiction

TAPPED OUT
This is the second in the series, following TUTU DEADLY, and I’m happy to report that Jenny has matured quite a bit since the first novel. She’s no longer flailing around like a teenager; she’s behaving much more like the thirtysomething woman she is supposed to be. The author has toned down the “wacky” aspects a bit, too, but there’s still a good dose of humor and some funny situations. The recurring characters are continuing to develop quite nicely; and the mystery seems to be more centered and tightly plotted this time. Anyone who has ever been a dance student as a child, or has a child taking dance classes will instantly recognize the reality of the dance and dance school scenes. This one is a fun, solid mystery, and I’ll be happy to follow Jenny’s progress in the future."--CA Reviews.
